Yeah, that’s not exactly how that works…
If you out your laptop on a bed, the heat will have nowhere to go so they’re trapped, that’s why it heats up. The same thing is happening to earth except it’s greenhouse gasses that trap the heat.
This reminds me of the time when I was on a bus and an older fella was arguing with another that trees should be cut since they get their nourishment from their roots.
