    God I remember what, 13 years ago when Macron first beat Le Pen, the analysis was that Macron needed to get his shit together and fix the root cause for what people were turning to fascism.

    And he proceeded to do fuck-all except implement more neo liberal policies which just pushed people right into the arms of Le Pen.

      Indeed, and I think his rabid support for the war really pushed it over the edge. Nobody in France wants to go to war with Russia, and people see the economy crumbling while the only thing he seems to care about is starting a nuclear holocaust.
