Not looking forward to a possible far right government taking place. Many of my LGBTQ+ friends are nervous.

Same here. Except no one is nervous because either way we will get neoliberal US bootlickers. At least i managed to convince my fairly apolitical partner to vote communist. The secret commie brainwashing indoctrination trick i used: told her she can take an online political quiz and see which party on our ballot she aligns with most based on some topical policy questions. Turns out that when you don’t use the word communism and just ask what policies working class people would prefer, a lot of the time they align with communist positions. Who would have thought?

At least the liberals over here are somewhat predictable and not that focussed on LGBTQ+ rights. The far right parties are quite literally saying they want to strip LGBTQ+ people of their rights. They don’t want gay people adopting anymore. They don’t think multiple genders exist. They don’t think trans people should exist. And this is a party that is not shy of using violence either, with some of their militias actively training for a ‘race war’.

The LGBTQ+ people in my life are right wing conservatives. I wouldn’t be surprised if they vote against their interests.
