I’m getting legal aid to help, and I do have a fair bit of documentation (all timesheets, paystubs, questionable texts about scheduling from my boss, and even pictures of a few health code violations). What was the process like for you? How soon did you get money?
If you are in the United States, then OSHA is now your new best friend. The whole process may take a maximum of a few months 4-8, but you will receive all the money you lost, plus an additional sum.
Oooh, I do like the sound of an additional sum. I’ve been going through my texts, and safe to say, I’ve been using my screenshots pretty liberally 😂.
Screenshots are no good. Take screen recordings of what you want to screenshot, screenshots can be easily manipulated and don’t hold up.
