Yes they are hypocrites, no they do not care. Trump doesn’t care when libs call out his hypocracy. Biden doesn’t care when we do his. The only thing they ask themselves is “are we winning?” and their definition of “winning” is domination. While I get what you’re saying, Biden is trailing in pretty much every swing state with a hint of color. He could have gained a lot by pretending earlier, imo. But it’s also not just about the voters. It used to be about making the appearance of rightness for the world or whatever.
During the first Trump administration, we used to get breathless commentaries about soft power and how these Republican savages were killing the concept. Now we’re just sending people everywhere to tell other countries to fuck off, we’re blowing up key infrastructure, etc. It just appears odd.
