How can you only assume you’ll win? It’s not like democrats are willing to play dirty against republicans so there’s no guarantee either. You demand my unquestioned loyalty yet you’re so bad at politicking. Of course, I’m not here to pretend democratic politicians are weak or dumb. They’re just evilly indifferent.

This is why I don’t take them seriously. They clearly don’t believe their own bullshit or they wouldn’t just be voting.

They would enjoy the fuck out of the second vision. It would give them an opportunity to be smug about something AND watch minorities suffer.

The narcissistic savior complex + I-told-you-so dynamic

    A liberal power fantasy

The thing is, they do not want to be the savior in that scenario, they want to gloat about marginalized people becoming martyrs. The suffering is the point. It is also why it wasn’t an oversight from them to not protect Roe, to not protect trans rights, to not make sure that they aren’t coming for gay and interracial marriage next: When you have nothing to offer but being the lesser evil, this means that the greater evil must remain a serious threat.

This is the perfect summary of their lesser evil nonsense. I’d like to add: they hate the minorities just as much as the conservatives they attack. They really feel we need to be thankful for their “help and sacrifices” when they do less than nothing.

I’m still shocked Biden’s “you ain’t black” comment isn’t brought up in their circles anymore.

The god damn soviets tried to launch a coup after being taken over by hostile pro-western forces. Even if the democrats failed like them, I would have some respect because they’re putting money where their mouth is at. But it’s very clear that no one in that party actually believes in the threats they spew out because in their dystopian fantasy, Biden is nowhere to be found. The party is nowhere to be found. You’re just in a camp already. It is punishment from the dems, and their voters are willing to eat that shit up and blame you for it.

These guys want to complain about Islamist terrorists being incentivized by martyrdom, but nothing grants you higher honor and prestige in liberalism than failing violently in the eyes of oppression, because striking back is authoritarian.

Centrism isn’t change – not even incremental change. It is control. Over yourself and the world. Exercise it. Look up at the sky, at the dark shapes of Coalition airships hanging there. Ask yourself: is there something sinister in moralism? And then answer: no. God is in his heaven. Everything is normal on Earth.

I went on a quick trip with an old liberal friend. Well, I’ve decided to finally phase him out of my life. He is the stereotypical liberal to a t.

He lectured me about how I had to vote for Biden, how he hates tankies, etc. He even agreed with all my points about how Biden is collaborating with genocide, people can’t afford to live, etc. but still just kept saying well things can get worse so you have to vote for Biden.

These people’s entire worldview was built on this moment never happening.

Edit: I did tell him tankies is a basically meaningless term now and people who use it in earnest sound childish. He didn’t like that.

I had my political awakening much later in life. Unfortunately I was stuck with a lot of bad friends (not just because they have 🗑️ politics, too). I’m making moves to phase most of these people out of my life. Unfortunately it’s hard to make friends later in life.

Do liberals even believe that Trump is that much of a threat to democracy and the US?

I’ve been thinking about it, and I kind of wonder, like if you had an absolute and unshakable belief that Trump was going to destroy democracy in the US, and that the destruction of democracy in the US would lead to the destruction of society as a whole.

Well why hasn’t anyone tried to do anything naughty to Trump yet?

Of course, if you don’t believe Trump is going to destroy democracy, or if you don’t think that the destruction of democracy is that bad, then who cares. But it seems like liberals truly believe that American society is doomed if Trump is elected, so why haven’t they taken that last step?

I mean ironically by continuously threatening us with Trump, liberals have revealed they will in fact support Trump’s hypothetical anti-minority policies

Which leaves us no choice but to hope Trump wins so the pro-genocide establishment that we call the US political elite is no longer united and becomes divided by internal rivalries, further weakening it and allowing for the opportunity of a new kind of politics to emerge naturally

Liberal’s hysterical reaction to the likelihood of Trump winning points to this as their greatest fear

Keep in mind these are the same people that will unquestioningly condemn any kind of violent protest against the state (which they also claim is on the edge of nuking civilians en masse if you dont vote ). You must change peoples’ minds peacefully (while they do violent oppression and genocide).

  • This is what they want. If they have no backstop or supposed ability to hold back the worst depravities of the Republicans, then they can try to use that threat to extort support without offering anything real or concrete besides being a separate party from the Republicans while taking money from the same donors.
