I mean considering priests are replacement for real deity interaction in a first place, it’s a weird argument.
I just have to say the fact that the church would even consider implementing this shows Hyperion and dune were wrong about how the church would handle technology like this.

idk about baptism but you can probably catch methodists using gatorade for communion in a pinch since they don’t use actual booze.
