    Ha ha.

Once is bad luck (the uk drone factory) two is coincidence (the us artillery plant) three times is enemy actions (this one).

Best of luck to any allies in the arms industry :saluterat-salute-2

Yeah, it would be cool if it was sabotage, but I’m going to apply the Nothing Good Ever Happens rule and guess it was a bunch of MBA types trying to increase efficiency.

People with a conscience probably wouldn’t have been working at BAE Systems to begin with (well, maybe as custodians, security, etc). That being said, if it was sabotage, it wouldn’t necessarily have to be a BAE Systems employee, could be any random person who was in the facility.

It said there were no injuries and no risk to local residents and production was unaffected.

That can’t be right, eh? How could production not be affected?

David TC Davies, MP for Monmouth, said the explosion occured “in a remote part of the site that had been set aside to take apart shells”.

“I am told there is always a small risk involved in this particular operation, which is exactly why it is carried out with remote control in a restricted area of the site. There were no risks to any members of the public,” he added.

They lost 1 of presumably many bomb diffusal robots in an anticipated explosion, which was responded to by emergency services as a matter of course. It’s a complete nonstory, unfortunately.
