I would say that about the Ukraine conflict moreso than Palestinian one, in a manner akin to smelting raw ore into pig iron and separating unwanted contamination before further refining that pig iron into steel.

It’s more complex, but the standards are necessary. Anyone who supports the defense or expansion of the empire is actively working against everything the “left” (I don’t like the term) stands for. Like, the minimum standard has to be for you to be on the correct side of the principle contradictions.
For the purposes of bringing an axe down between left and right, they’re equivalent. There is no possible left stance of supporting the Ukraine or the Zionist state.
