“634 AD” lmao someone should’ve told the Nabataeans that almost a thousand years earlier

Also I love the idea that 1400 years is somehow not enough time to become indigenous to a land, even by his ludicrous timeframe Arabs have inhabited the land longer than the existence of the Hebrew language before the Roman conquest

Current genetic evidence (for what it is worth) suggests that the majority of Palestinians are not of Arab descent, although there are Palestinian-Arabs, but are Semitic peoples who converted to Islam, some of them over a thousand years ago. The majority of them are the Jewish people that lived there prior to the Arab conquest, (just as they likely would have before the conquest of the cult of Yahweh). And this isn’t to say anything of the treatment by the Zionists of Palestinian Christians.

It’s such a wrong statement on so many levels.

Also, by his own calculation, there is no evidence for a historical ‘state’ of Israel. There was a kingdom of Judea, but even that was only around for a couple centuries before immediately getting swallowed up repeatedly by whatever empire was marching through. Maybe the whole apartheid thing should be dissolved and the kingdom of Judea should be reestablished?

Not to mention that the Jews weren’t the first peoples in the Levantine anyway. We’re talking about one of the regions with the longest history of human civilization, establishing a “first people” past a vague gesture towards Semitic peoples as a whole is a fool’s errand.

Hey, thanks for you reply! Can you please provide me with the links about the genetic evidence? That will come in handy!

It is in the Origin of Palestinians in Wikipedia, there are studies from both 2020 and 2021 in the citations. This is pretty common knowledge for people who have been paying attention (and also just have any interest in the history of the region).

Applying the same logic, African people have a claim to the whole Eurasian continent and we are colonising their land and should off ourselves and give it back
