For me, he is a real hero.

I don’t know Sablin exact political stance but even if he said he was leninist and was absolutely correct, what he did was not much corresponding to this, since it was adventurism. Even comparisons to the battleship Potemkin are very loose at best, and at worst it’s something between blanquism and SR’s. Again i might be mistaken since i don’t know about him, but this is seriously first time i seen any ML praising Sablin, 100% of other cases were ultras. A lot of HoI4 players since Sablin is featured in TNO mod, but again as everything in TNO is more of carricature than real character.

The warship is called Dzerzhinskiy, has she some references to Sablin?

Not really except the same class, but i read about the class and it is still in service without name change, which is helluva rare in case of Russian ships inherited from USSR, especially name like THAT.

Well, even if he believed some corrections are necessary, he certainly selected not the most efficient and reasonable means to express it. I do not want to sound like an ultra, but I admire his courage and firm staying with noble ideals, also I am sorry for what happened to him.

Was it efficient and reasonable though? What did he thought would happen? One shot from Aurora starting new revolution? invitation to politburo? Don’t forget that it is the time where US propaganda made a year long spectacle of every pilot defector and arrested spy, so government fear he might be really a traitor wasn’t unfounded.

True, but it need to be put into context. Fanny Kaplan for example had both too.
