There was an auto correct there. 'Stressed’should be ‘shredded’. He got a MCU bod, and while describing the process later he talks about how not sustainable it is and if he didn’t have a TV show budget to hire trainers and stuff it wouldn’t not be possible.
There’s a bonus feature on the season 8 DVD about the process and there’s an interview with Caitlin Olsen (Dee and Rob’s wife IRL) “How did I feel about my husband intentionally gaining sixty pounds for a joke? Oh it was a treat, he started snoring really loud, sweating a lot and everything smelled like fast food. I’m sad to see him lose it.”
How the heck did he even put that much weight on and then lose it all again? Was there some story behind that?
Eating a lot to gain, personal trainer and steroids to lose.
All just for a bit.
Yeah, Rob McElhenney thought it would be funny for Mac to gain and lose a bunch of weight with little to no explanation.
wow… that’s… uhh… dedication to the craft I guess
He got absolutely stressed for one of the more recent seasons and was back to normal after that season as well
for a second i thought you were joking and that was the cause of his weight gain… made me lol for a second, but then i read it again and that’s sad :(
