The parasitic stage of societal development is one in which some people consume the lives of others. Parasitism and cannibalism are used as descriptors of all classful modes of production for this reason.

Think about cannibalism as killing and eating your own people. It’s one of my favourite comprarisons for anti-semitism, it’s visceral and cuts straight to the point.
