    Idk people seem to love to performatively hate on stuff like Astrology and divinations, which do seem like the last vestiges of pagan religion for white people. Idk I could be wrong. It just reminds me of when Occupied Koreans malded that their president consulted a “witch” even though that’s literally their native religion.

      well yeah, people will hate on astrology the way they hate on flat eartherism. i’m p sure it’s basically the same people doing both.

      not sure that it has anything to do with pagan stuff. europe is a lost cause, even the “pagan” stuff we have is modern made up shit based on 18-19th century made up shit, because everything is gone.

      I’m not super knowledgeable about the ROK “witch” thing, but a quick internet search says she’s involved with a cult called the Church of Eternal Life, founded by her father, that syncretizes traditional Korean shamanism with Buddhism and Christianity, which he founded after converting from being a Buddhist monk to being a Presbyterian. I’m also reading that her and her father both used their politics influence to secure donations to their businesses.
