I’m thrilled, but we can get those numbers lower.

Edit should have put this in the dunk tank.

They’ve essentially been taught that rules and law and order don’t matter and that the underlining American structure is to blame for any and all wrongdoing.

michael-laugh LMAO at US Military and “rules based order”

nicholson-yes underlining American structure is to blame for any and all wrongdoing. amerikkka

What’s wild is that even the promises of “after 4 years the government will take care of you for life” are so obviously untrue because you can go to any city in this country and find a street lined with homeless veterans with severe mental health problems.

The advertised value proposition is so false on its face for anyone who has left the house in the last thirty years.

He adds that in just 20 years the amount of high school and college-aged students who “never thought’ about joining the military has risen from 25 percent to nearly 50 percent.

I’d rather serve crack than serve this country

The amount of younger people who have older family members in the military has also decreased, which has not only hurt recruitment but knowledge of what the military has to offer.

What the military “has to offer” is about four years of living in a centrally planned society where all of your basic needs are taken care of and you can form a strong social bond with your fellow soldiers, which is honestly pretty nice but it’s not worth killing foreign kids over and it’s cool that more people are realizing that.

In response to the low active force numbers, the Department of Defense is now suggesting there be a “national call to service,” by leaders and politicians.

This can only result in even lower recruitment numbers.

Unfortunately, our Constitutional Republic is being attacked from within.

Uncritical support for the American Fifth Column. I know if we go to war with China what I’m going to be doing.

This alone made me want to get in as an adult, but then I remembered the whole empire thing.

I genuinely think so many of this country’s “problems” with the youth is due to the massive increase in atheism

Gay sex, t*******, furries, vaping, and lack of suicidal patriotism

One thing they fail to address (bc Chud site obvioisly) is that many Chuds who would normally be Gung ho in the military aren’t renewing because they hate Biden. They literally think he’s “destroying military”. One of my old coworkers was a former recruiter and he would go on rants to me about how biden is a communist and he made his brother (whom he got into the military) get out because of it. These people have no critical thinking skills. It’s all reactionary.

That’s pretty much the vibe I get from watching guntube content. It’s making a lot of people post small unit tactics and battle drills online so that’s either concerning or cool depending if you’re into that or not.

Memo to Washington: Turns out you can only fuck over young people to the point of literally sending their future up in flames before they stop signing up to enrich the already-obscene horde your visibly decaying ass is perched atop even further.

Lowest in…80 years? That doesn’t sound right. Wasn’t there like, a big war or something 80 years ago and the US conscripted a whole bunch of people?

I was mainly joking, but I think it is interesting that they use the term “in 80 years” rather than “before ww2.” The second paints a very different picture and might have Americans question why their military has needed to be so large, bigger than it was during the biggest war in history.
