Human rights groups condemned Senate Republicans and the Biden administration after reports that a discussion on a supplemental funding bill to provide aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan put asylum and other humanitarian pathways for migrants on the table.

Last week’s supplemental military spending bill failed in the Senate. Now, Democrats are preparing to gut asylum, aid in mass deportation, and end humanitarian parole — a massive, permanent overhaul to the immigration system that would be the biggest change to federal immigration law since 1986. And in return for this horrific sacrifice of immigrant rights Biden and Dems are getting…billions of dollars in military aid for Taiwan, Ukraine, and [Zionism]. It’s a complete political and moral failure. But at least this will finally get Republicans to stop attacking Democrats for being soft on immigration, right? RIGHT??

    They’ll literally resurrect Trump-era border guidelines in one breath, then their invertebrate zombies will turn around and brandish the nightstick at us like “but if you don’t vote for us, Trump’ll do all the things that we’re currently doing will EnD dEmOcRaCy As We KnOw It!!!1!!1!!!1!” in the next.

    It’d be laughable if it wasn’t so fucking hateful. Deadass I’m even starting to hate people who vote democrat, never mind the actual politicians.
