I’ve discovered many good news sources here on Lemmygrad, but most of these seem to be focused on either global events or the USA. Where do you get news about what’s going on in your own country?

In India, seems like CPIM likes newsclick.in so I read that sometimes. They seem much more pro-labour than mainstream outlets, but I don’t know if they are for-profit or not. Need to look into that.

To be frank, I think it’s because Lemmygrad is still very much an English-language community.

We definitely should at least try to create more outreach to other communities that are English-language communities or English-only.

I’m from Brazil. Here I use to read Sputnik Brasil or Telesur when I look for a more “critical” perspective. For more generals news, I read the “bourgiosie” newspaper, like G1, Estadão, Folha de São Paulo, etc. I have this app called “Feedly”, where I join all that sites in a only one feed, with various sites around the world, but with emphasis on that “critical” perspective.
