Also, it talks somewhat about the “Black Belt thesis”; it seems that it was ejected as a result of the pressure on the Party due to 1950s, when the Party, I think, was underground. Though, of course, Harry Haywood has his side of the story; he did support an organization like UNITA but that doesn’t necessarily discredit him.

Personally, I think the Black Belt thesis has at least some relevance, even with the change in demographics in the 21st century.

Frankly, I think it should be taken up again, at least in some form, though of course, we would have to take into account indigenous peoples as well.
