It’s really fucking amazing how quiet the liberals got when it became clear the Ukraine counteroffensive was lost.
And then just as it was happening Hamas attacks and they have a new thing to squeal about.
And now? When it’s clear that this is Israel commiting genocide openly?
Crickets again.
It’s been very interesting to watch how all the same people who were very concerned about the supposed genocide of Uyghurs in China, and the civilian deaths from Russian invasion of Ukraine, all of a sudden turn a blind eye to proven and well documented atrocities that Israel commits completely unapologetically. Turns out these people only really cared about advancing the interests of the empire while bleating about human rights and all the other things they very clearly don’t believe in.
