the most disappointed by a recent movie i have ever been was the sequel to Sicario, where this completely absurd brainworm was played straight. for the first hour or so, i thought it was some kind of weird misdirection. …like a Long Kiss Goodnight style false flag conspiracy to grow the counter-terror / state security apparatus.

This has been part of US propaganda for a long time. I forget when “Al-Qaeda/The Taliban/Cobra Commander” is going to cross the Mexican border started by it’s been going on for a long, long while.
