      What is with the Muricans and the battle for Alamo? it’s probably the most overblown battle in the history of humanity.

        They don’t view it in the larger historical context of American settlers fucking over an existing nation so that they (the settlers) could own slaves, they only view it as “smol bean resistance fighters against big army”

          I think they desperatly yearn for some really bloody loss to fuel their messianism, but alas they’ve been mostly winning all the time and even when they loss it’s not really huge manpower losses.
