Every day a missing child story ends with “was found alive” is a good day.

Wtf if that guy had been wearing gloves it would’ve been a lot more difficult to find her. The idiot cops got called to another place while they were supposed to be watching the house.

The family’s home was being monitored by state police, but the officers had been sent to another call in the area when the suspect dropped off the note.

Why even bother if you’re just going to send them to a random call after stationing them there? This girl easily could’ve been killed due to this decision - there are a lot of offenders that don’t have fingerprints on file.

This kind of thing is so terrible. The kid was riding round a loop with friends, she wanted to ride one more loop by herself and got snatched.

Hearing stories like this is why so many parents can’t and won’t let their kids run around any more. It’s a shame because I had so much fun as a kid and my parents had no idea where I was until I got home. I think it teaches kids self reliance and responsibility.
