I was looking to post a video for memes but was given an error. Is lemmygrad video compatible? If not, will it be in the future?

    No videos, that would explode our hosting costs. There’s gotta be a peertube instance someone could use tho.

      Would it be possible to have embed videos hosted somewhere else though? The way reddit does with imgur pictures? Or at least embed youtube videos?

        Yep, we have embedding turned off rn, but its very possible to turn in back on, and view vids in the site directly.

        But I’d want people to either choose or start runnning a communist friendly peertube server, because its just too much space for us to host.

          I reckon it would be really good to have right now, because it’s convenient and more importantly it’s what people know, so from a user retention perspective it would make sense as well with people transitioning from reddit.
