    This has little to do with Cuba and everything to do with avoiding the electoral suicide in Florida that defrosting relations with Cuba would bring.

      Which is ridiculous, they should give up on trying to appease the boomer Cubans in Florida, they’ll never vote democratic anyway. Opening up relations might actually give them votes for the younger ones, it the ones that have relatives still on the island they care about.

      Obama had the right idea, and Biden is not gaining anything by keeping Trump’s rollback.
