I would rather have questions that can’t be answered than answers that can’t be questioned - Rich Feynman
There’s a bit of a learning curve to dial in all the stuff you regularly do with windows on a linux based OS. But by making your daily driver a linux based machine you’ll be kind of forced to figure it out. Took me maybe a month to fully get each little thing setup but now I have more versatile resources to handle the same tasks. Worth it alone to stop the invasive tracking by Microsoft to me. Plus with all the easily accessible open sourced software available in linux, I now often wonder what took me soo long to drive in
Wasn’t working yesterday for me either, https://libreddit.domain.glass is working at least 🤷♂️

The fact sources aren’t provided with ChatGPT is detrimental. We’re in the early stages where errors are not uncommon, sourcing the info used to generate the paraphrases with ChatGPT would help instill confidence in its responses. This is a primary reason I prefer using perplexity.ai over ChatGPT, plus there’s no need to create an account with perplexity as well!
As water continues to warm, algae which can survive/thrive at 37°C (human body temp) will be more and more common too. This could mean a masive global health issue is being created as we’re ~70% water. But billionaires adding to their already insane amounts of wealth is all that matters…they aren’t sociopath’s and will save us all, right?
When the choices are pretty much acquire debt or die/starve, it’s not much of a choice. Prior generations were offered amazing work opportunities plus past legislation making the ladder to financial freedom much more difficult to climb, what did they expect?! Like how are they the ones struggling to understand why this is happening…Says a whole lot about their level of detachment from reality.
Open AI is just that yet the rest isn’t which is BS based on the marketing for chatGPT. Perplexity.ai is fed info constantly so its literally update by the minute and not only 2021 and before like chatGPT. It had breakdowns of the East Palestine train wreck as info was available plus it provides sources and doesn’t require an account. This makes it a solid option until open-assistant.io is up and running in my book
Remember how insanely error prone wikipedia was out the gate yet now its damn near spot on everytime. This is why AI’s have the thumbs up and down buttons so it can be corrected. Asking perplexity.ai for recipes regarding chemistry, it BLEW tough just a month ago but now its accurate noticeably more often than last month. This demonstrates over time the AI software will dial in answers and its great to see a Prof utilize it during this process nonetheless.
As someone working in education, this is what’s up! Schools are saying ChatGPT will ruin school, same story followed cell phones, search engines and PC’s…

I’m not sure where to find the language setting in the app, clicking through the settings now and I haven’t seen the option. The error message I receive when trying to read messges is “Value Query of type java.lang.String cannot be converted to JSONObject”. Does this match up with the issue being due to the language setting?
Dr. Shi, aka the bat lady, had jobs with the Wuhan Institute of Virology as well as University of North Carolina conducting gain of function research on sars-cov-1. This took place over many years and she would fly back and forth between the BSL-4 labs to assess what additions and/or subtractions to the viral genome increased its pathogenicity. This being the case, the US claiming China caused the novel viral outbreak alone is outlandish. Dr. Shi was paid via a federal grant to do the same research at UNC she was doing in Wuhan.
It’s option two after they’re recommendation to use a free trial of Chegg first:
I enjoy perplexity.ai as it doesn’t require an account and doesn’t recall previous sessions. It’s built on OpenAI yet it’s not open sourced. To quote the founder of StabilityAI, the “toughest part of open chatGPT creation (aside from millions of bucks for RL bit) is the governance aspect…The nice thing is once all the blood sweat and tears go into creating the models and frameworks they can proliferate like crazy as a new type of dev primitive.”
There is are a few options on GitHub which could use help though. OpenAssistant, trlX, and PaLM + RLHF seem to have the most potential. Hopefully there will be a few options in the not to distant future.
Clean water access is the upsetting component to it all.
From the report: “Israel, the Occupying Power, appropriates Palestinian communities water resources in three consecutive steps: through the issuing of discriminatory zoning and planning orders; through the exploitation and redirection of core Palestinian water resources; and through licensing private water providers to exploit and supply the captive Palestinian market for commercial profit.”
If someone has a gun that’s used for both hunting and a mass shooting, the reasonable aspect doesn’t cover for the atrocious layer. This really just helps demonstrate how Israel is basicly an extension of US global control. Using the equipment the US helped them acquire to tighten control over an underhanded group is obscene from where I stand.
Exactly, I was referencing the VanillaOS install. I’m setting up a VM soon to test the waters 100%
