I don’t know about you all but I like having an 8 year old thread with 2000+ comments that aren’t relevant anymore. That way whenever a newbie shows up and asks a question I can smugly tell them to read the pinned thread.

It’s federation issues. The action to unpin never got federated. I think you can contact your instance admins and ask them to manually modify their cached version of the community.

Edit: if you checked the “true” version, it only has 1 pinned post

To the mods: you can fix this by repinning and re-unpinning the posts. Had to deal with this myself in other communities.

Will that really fix it though, or will it just fix it with some and break it with others?

It’s worked for me thus far idk. I think it’s down to when world was having some more issues with staying up and stuff, so it should work decently? No clue, not a computer expert.

  • I just wanna know what’s up with the instance I am on sometimes having every stickied post from every community showing up at the top of the feed. It’s not just the ones made by the instance mods; it’s like every single pinned post across the whole federation.
