I know this is all just Elon’s ineptitude on full display, but there is still part of me that thinks he was paid by certain governments to tank the platform.

Imagine being out of the loop and then being faced with the prospect of downloading “X - Blaze your glory!” when it comes up randomly in your search for twitter.

    Fucking trainwreck.

It would even be better if they remove all references to twitter on the app stores so the X app doesn’t come up when searching for twitter.

Come on Elon change the domain. Just do it, it’ll be fine! SEO will be fantastic!

Kind of a pointless stunt if he doesn’t change the domain. What’s even the point of rebranding when your URL points to the old one. Can this clown do anything right? How he became the next messiah to millions will always elude me.

Cat pics are much higher on my list of priorities than “blazing” my “glory”. What even is that? Is it a sex thing? It’s a sex thing, isn’t it? Brb, gonna go blaze myself in the glory.

I’m sure the full phrase it references is “going down in a blaze of glory”, and is just Elon’s edgy nod that he is catastrophically destroying the platform, but just enough deniability In case it all works out and is a success.

Doesn’t that expression have connotation with “fighting to the bitter end”?

Twitter’s situation with Musk is less one of fighting to the last breath but going down none the less (taking as many of the other side as you can), and more one of suicide by incompetence.

Too much musk news. Had a dream less than an hour ago where i ended up in a car with elon. He started peacocking and got violent when i brought up zuck.

While it was a neat experience to beat up musk in a dream, id rather not have him in my dreams.

Or they are just not getting new users because they keep mucking around and disabling features. We used to have twitter feeds embedded in our websites for years and this just quit working over the summer. Now we have facebook feeds embedded.

fair enough, I can only think of this whenever the new name for twitter comes up (well that and how X could not pay alimony). But I get that you all must like the new name.
