People against aid to Ukraine don’t seem to understand that by spending billions now, we save trillions in the future.
If Ukraine falls, russia will go after more and more. They’re genocidal expansionists, they think they’re destined to rule the world, you just have to see any of their state TV shows. Poland knows this, and knows what happens to people conquered by russia, so Poland is arming themselves to the teeth.
If russia wins, they’ve plainly stated that they won’t stop expanding westward.
It is not the “Ukraine war”. It is the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

putin doesnt want peace so there will be no peace. its why diplomacy didnt work before the invasion and none of the talks have since.
Quick question: if a peace agreement gives Russia a chunk of Ukraine, that essentially means that any country can invade another country and then steal its territory with no consequence, right?

If russia invaded where you live, would you defend yourself?
Would you give away half your country?
How exactly would you force the invaders of your country to sit down and come to a peace agreement? How would that peace agreement be enforced?
