The Africa Team of the Black Alliance for Peace (BAP) and the U.S. Out of Africa Network (USOAN) condemn the threats of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to lead a military intervention into Niger. We believe this would be an act of subservience to U.S./EU/NATO interests. As Western imperialism seems to be losing its neo-colonialist grip on Africa, it is trying to expand its use of puppets and proxies to undermine resistance.

No compromise; no retreat. Peace, y’all.

They’re not colonies anymore yes but you can’t allow the precedent of military coups against democratically elected governments being successful. Their status as a former colony doesn’t matter, most of the world was, what matters is a non-elected government was just put in by forcibly removing the democratically elected government, that cannot be allowed to stand. Juntas will only weaken Africa further

FIVE-EYES out of Africa, whatever it takes. That you’re not with it raises some concerning questions. Do you cosign the continued colonial extraction of resource from Niger, from Mali, from Burkina Faso, from every sovereign in Africa that has not been CEDED their sovereignty? If so, you don’t belong in this space.

Let’s break this down: Niger’s president, prior to this coup, was a puppet installed by Macron, who hoovered TONS of Nigerien uranium and gold, out of the country, out of the hands who those resources belong to, to heat the homes of French crackers on an 80%/18% margin. In favor of said French crackers. God knows where all that gold went, probably French vaults and around the necks, fingers, and ears of again, French crackers. You don’t have to be boots on the ground to be a colonizer; and right now, the entirety of the West are still colonizers, whether or not the crackers in question play word games to try and pass these colonized nations off as ‘not colonies anymore’.

Out of Africa. Whatever it takes.
