If this site really cares about opposing sectarianism and infighting and creating a leftist space, it shouldn’t make the same kind of mistakes people here often (rightly) criticize platforms like Raddle for. Wide-scale disagreement is one thing, but removing content that one personally disagrees with from communities one didn’t build and have no interest in being a part of is too far. It’s harmful to a mindset of growth and dialogue to totally clamp down. If everyone on the left just sequesters ourselves off into our own private domains, it forms a significant roadblock to actually taking action on key issues we agree on.

I realize that this sounds like a mean-spirited callout, but if I really thought this site and the people on it are garbage, I wouldn’t be staying here and asking like this. Hopefully others can at least see that, even if they disagree with my personal views.

This absolutely applies to just removing content for having a source that’s disliked, btw. Why not just comment that it’s a biased source and move on? It’s turning an opportunity for discussion into an unnecessary power play.

The nature of a brigade is that a ton of ppl upvote content really quickly, to get it on the front page. Also, of course the articles are all about the west’s enemies, none of them criticizing the west.

Any anti-maduro or anti-VZ shit-tier memes, on this instance are completely unjustified.

Critiques = good. Simplistic memes shitting on VZ = No.
