If you live in the US, look up if theres an SPCA near you (not ASPCA). They do catch and release and it’s much cheaper than a vet. Neutering / checking for FIV and FELV all ended up costing me ~$50
I’ve done it before, if they haven’t been socialized with humans before ~12 weeks it’ll be a little more difficult but not impossible. It took me a solid week of watching the trap for hours inside of a parking lot to get my little guy. If they’re small enough you might have to tie a string to the trap and manually pull it. We trapped mine at 3 pounds and he put his full body weight on the plate and it still didn’t close haha.
The SPCA should also have plenty of people fostering cats in the area if they can’t take the cat you find, I saw them coming in and out picking up food and litter for them.

There’s an SPCA a county over, I’ll give them a call tomorrow and see if they can come to me, thanks!
Of course! If they can’t, you can also rent a trap from them (it’s free!) and catch the little stinker yourself to bring to them.
Okay I’ll see what I can do, I’m hoping it’s as easy as setting a trap. It’s still just a youngster so I’d like it to get a good home and life.
