hey comrades. anyone here played last year’s disco elysium? it’s a phenomenal story-heavy cRPG made by marxists. takes place in a fictional city recovering from a failed communist revolution that was crushed by international capitalist powers decades prior. main protagonist is an absolutely batshit insane amnesiac cop that’s been sent to investigate a murder mystery. it’s one of my favorite games of all time, i think pretty much any marxist would thoroughly enjoy it.

I gotta give it a try, I’ll see if maybe my Thinkpad can run it.

Tonight We Riot is also a pretty fun crowd brawler. You get to beat the shit outta pigs and torch them with molotovs, great release :P

it’s an incredible game, i really do recommend you give it a try. even for non-marxists the game is a really enjoyable and well written RPG but there’s so much stuff here for marxists to enjoy, from in-jokes to poetic and beautiful scenes, ruminations on the relentless marching of history to funny passages shitting on centrists and fascists. it’s very well optimized as well, even extremely low-end systems should be able to play it fairly smoothly.

tonight we riot has been on my radar since it came out, i’m gonna have to give that one a try sometime. love how there seems to be an influx of explicitly anti-capitalist games and developers recently.

Absolutely. I honestly laughed out loud when I chose the the option to give the double middle fingers. And to second what you said, I played the game on bootcamp on a MacBook air. Most games don’t work on this glorified typewriter, but Disco did.
