I just realised that I have not heard someone say my name irl in over a month. And even online its only been in two conversations. Weird how this hurts more now than it used to, although I guess that’s to be expected since I’ve gotten used to actually being out.

Had a blowout with my mom yesterday. She wasn’t dead naming me. Just stopped using names for me once I asked to be called a different name.
Oh that sucks, having the people you love degender you like that is awful, as is it becoming a fight that she (I presume) didn’t budge much on. I hope for both of your sakes that she realises how hurtful it is and turns around soon.
My mom came around. I was more aggressive than I would have liked in that conversation, and I’m blaming the testosterone!
Hopefully by next week though I will be on t blockers!
