Exactly “you just need to create an issue” and then hope somebody picks it up. I can make no promises on when or even if. It just sounds like an idea that somebody might pick up and with (this person having) the right foundation might make good progress on.
I’m not the right person, because I don’t know my way around movie databases. But I know they exist! Media Kraken uses them (maybe add a link to it as a resource when writing the issue).
