I’m either an atheist or a pagan depending on how you want to categorize (I do occasional ritual stuff but don’t believe it’s literally real), so this is half coming from a place of general distaste towards belief in the supernatural and half from a place of recognising the importance of such beliefs to people as a salve:

I say go for it, as long as it doesn’t become reactionary, or chauvinistic towards non-believers (I remember someone back on r/genzedong who would drone on about how only Islamic socialism was TRUE socialism and Marx was just ripping off [insert historical theocratic state here] it was kinda dumb and irritating lol).
