Well, assuming we meet aliens, it would mean they are the space faring race who is visiting us, since we are not space faring. This also means they are a more advanced race than us, which hopefully implies they’ve evolved beyond capitalism lol.
Hopefully when an alien invasion is repelled we take over and advance humanity
Well some of the writers (like Efremov) believed that advanced space faring was only possible under socialism/communism, so any meetings with aliens were bound to be those of camaraderie

Aliens that are threated by America would not be a threat to a revolution. They would just need to recognize that America is an existential danger to them. Look at what was done to native Americans, rape, slaughter, merciless genocide on a scale of hundreds of millions. And that was done to humans that were slightly different. Imagine what would happen to an alien species like the Asari, or something Inhuman that just happens to be tasty. It’s not even a question of if such atrocities would happen, it’s a guarantee. Think about the way people always say human rights, but are derisive of the idea that we should look to the future and focus on sapient rights.
I know, what I’m concerned is what if we get targeted by the aliens alongside the US?
