They are usually fried by dipping them in a big pot of hot oil, so many can be made at the same time.
And yes, they’re the holy grail of Brazilian culinary.
What is inside them? They look like they could be sweet or savory depending on the filling.
The most common fillings are ground beef, chicken and cheese, but i’ve seen ones filled with bananas, shrimp and some other stuff before.
I’m going to try and make some next week I think. They look pretty easy to make and fried food always tastes good.
