    Belgian (Flemish) regional TV is grasping at straws to depict the time of the hostages as horrible, but all they can come up with is stuff like

    • Long waiting lines for the bathroom
    • uncomfortable sleeping places
    • stress
    • irregular food diatribution (regular gazans are surviving on two pieces of bread per day, thank you Israel)
    • they released a little girl but not her mother (this one is a bit shitty)
    • boredom…

    They are framing this as if it’s almost worse than the terror that Gaza has to endure for the past months and years. And then one throwaway line about how Israel has captured more people in West Bank than they released in Gaza. Because that doesn’t matter. Never any mention about horrible atrocities IDF commits or how it treats those hostages (also framed as prisoners, which again so different)

    I’m so tired of this bullshit.
