I’d say the less racist (although this is purely subjective because they’re all racist) are people who believe what you just laid out. If one is propagandized into the myth of “Arabs (Palestinians, but Israelis don’t like to acknowledge their existence as a people) are all bloodthirsty and their religion says they must kill us and look at Oct 7!” then there’s some logical, perhaps… “reasonable” fear there. I’m not agreeing, to be super clear, just saying I can see where the mindset comes from. They’re lied to their whole lives and only see what internal Israeli media wants to show them of these “cages animals,” so naturally uncaging the animals is death to them.
The more racist, imo, are those I described originally. They might believe the above stuff too, maybe, maybe not, doesn’t actually matter because their reasoning for apartheid and wanting to exterminate Palestinians isn’t so much based on ideas of barbarity but moreso based on ideas of Jewish supremacy which is sort of the entire basis of Zionism especially post WWII in Israel.
The idea of many Zionists, certainly the ones who ended up in control now days was to build a martial state for the Jews and the Jews alone. You uphold that racial purity by systemically making the existence of Palestinians harder and harder and more and more illegal to just… Exist. The hope being they lose their will to continue struggling and leave Palestine completely.
I think the fact that 80 years of constant subjugation and the fact that the Palestinians still resist and have the ability and the willpower to pull off attacks like on Oct 7 seriously just pisses off the most racist, Jewish supremacist elements. That’s the reason for this absurd amount of genocidal retaliation in Gaza and the West Bank. Not unlike how slave masters reacted when slaves dared to organize an uprising. Retribution had to be swift and brutally harsh to break any will to even consider such an act again for generations.
But yeah, these types are obsessed with Jewish purity, racial hierarchy, even within Jews themselves (basically the more brown you are the lower you are on the inner-Jewish totem pole and non-Jews, especially Arabs and Palestinians most of all, are the bottom).
