He can’t undo what he’s already said and done. I see more and more trying to pretend they DIDNT just support genocide a few weeks and only lightly modified that in the last week-ish since it’s become overwhelmingly clear that this is not a position that non-elected (kinda key part there) “progressives” or just left leaning people hold or can tolerate in any capacity. Genocide should be instantly disqualifying at an absolute minimum so that means all 100 senators and all but like… I mean, I’d say just Tlaib, although I’d probably say a few others get a pass in the House for half-ass being human. It’s sad that only one person with the power in Congress or executive branch had the fortitude to immediately say “no genocide.” What a rotten country.

What I love about the democrats is that they lack common sense and they also don’t have an instinct for self-survival. I assume Biden and his team thought his mention that “there’s not a sliver of daylight” between his administration and the Israelis couldn’t fail. Then he sent not one but two strike groups to be sit out there in the water close enough to Lebanon to remind Hezbollah of American military might. He paved the way for Israel to commit war crimes and to do ethnic cleansing and now he and Blinken are flailing around in a panic.
