This community needs are few finishing touches, and I’d like Lemmygrad to help with deciding on them.
Firstly, a community profile picture is needed. What symbols, images, etc. represent either the concept of colonialism, or represent natives? What colours are commonly used for this purpose?
Second, the community needs a banner. What images evoke decolonization, rage against colonizers, or solidarity between colonized peoples?
Finally, the rules need to be set. What are some rules this community would benefit from having?
Can we have like… explanations when mods randomly remove our comments? I got mine deleted an hour ago. It had 3 upvotes and no downvotes and some random mod accused me of “Trolling”? What exactly was wrong here? It was a genuine effort to push people to be more critical
For context, this was on the thread alleging “all Indian tribes” made Stalin chief. Me and another user investigated further and found that this group also made a bunch of US presidents and generals chief and was far from representative of people native to Turtle Island
All our other comments also got upvotes and no downvotes so it seems most users appreciated the investigation (we had to dig up decades old news articles) except for this one mod
