I haven’t followed this story and I have not much idea of the situation. Obviously I’m suspect of US motivations for troop deployment. How should this situation be addressed ideally?

    Obviously I understand the extreme depravation and exploitation which Haiti has been subjected to for more than a century to give rise to this situation.
