Not electron, the theater apps just load the respective service’s regular web app. The bulk of the car’s UI is built in QT last I remember, though the newer music apps (Apple Music and the Spotify redesign) are web apps also.
Generally some of the best automotive UI, but the competition surely isn’t very strong.
Because it only works when the vehicle is parked.

My G Pro Superlight has a charge port on the front and I never use it while charging because it isn’t pleasant to use that way, with tension from the cable. I just go pee and come back and it’s charged plenty.
I managed to snag a refurbished Pixel 6 Pro on Woot for $250 or so, and it’s been wonderful running GrapheneOS. Definitely some learning curves after being on iOS so long, but it’s great.
The only thing I miss is contactless payment, but I’ve gotten used to it.

Oh this will be nice, I loved having this on iOS. I used it for things like sign in codes from TV apps or whatever. Hopefully it works offline like voice does so I can continue using GBoard without network permissions.

Hello y’all! I’m sky, and I decided to quit cannabis 3.5 weeks ago after smoking daily for 5 years or so.
I’d become so lethargic and depressed and was just trying to avoid all of my emotions and problems by being stoned 100% of the time. I’ve been in therapy all year and decided to finally come clean to her about it, and she was nonjudgmental but encouraged me to really evaluate whether it was helping me. I knew it wasn’t.
I’ve started some actual mental health medication, and that’s been so helpful. I’ve been able to go out with friends, have date nights with my wife, and started job hunting for the first time in years. There’s hard days where I really want to go smoke (my wife still does so it’s very accessable, unfortunately) like yesterday, but so far I’ve managed without.
I don’t have many people to talk to about this that understand, so I was really excited to see this community started!

It’s a lot better these days with the CameraX extensions. My Snapchat looks just as good as the native camera on my Pixel.
