  • Finland training nazis, the government wants and most likely will ban Russians from entering the country and just two months ago a new fascist party (they use the colors of Lapuan liike, a fascist organization which terrorized communists post civil war) was officially registered and is now able to take part in elections. All while libs are busy fawning over PM Marin because she wears a leather jacket…

There were lots of shit comments (i mean really really shitty takes) there as well, but all in all, it was really refreshing to see many highly upvoted based comments. Also Socrates was cool af for pushing his club to being run democratically (Democracia Corinthiana) in the context of military dicatorship

Lol, that first wojak is basically what every liberal Finn love to show off every year when this forsaken country tops the ”happiest country in the world” list. The liberals also completely ignore that the suicide rate is among the top in the EU, the problematic drinking culture and the very high amount of antidepressants prescribed per capita…

I read an article posted by Finnish state media this morning, where they interviewed a woman who worked directly for Poroshenko during his presidency. She attributed the Ukrainian forces’ ”resiliency” to Bandera’s OUN whose resistance against the Red Army ended years after WW2. She also praised Isntreal as an example to learn from and funnily enough she has founded two NGOs, both which claim to be fighting for democracy and both of them receive funding from multiple banks, USAID, NED, US embassies and NATO…🥴 Anyway sorry for ranting

These films were already mentioned here but “The Battle of Algiers” and “The Wind that Shake the Barley” are really excellent films in depicting the revolutionary heroes that fought to liberate Algeria and Ireland respectively. Ken Loach (director of the latter) in general makes lots of films about the working class, so his work is definitely relevant.

If you are a fan of French New Wave, I can recommend “Far from Vietnam”, which is an anti-war documentary about the AmeriKKKan atrocities in Vietnam by Godard, Varda, Truffaut, etc. “La Chinoise” by Godard is also a very fun and relatively short watch about Maoist students that are a bit too keen on theory.

Maybe not too relevant to communism but I really enjoy the films of Zhang Yimou. Some of his works can be slightly over-exaggerating the Cultural Revolution, but the story-telling is sound nonetheless, especially in “To Live”.

“Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears” is one of the few Soviet films I have seen (really need to catch up here!), but it is a really down to earth romantic film, compared to Western counterparts. You can find this from Mosfilm’s YT channel.

That clown spouts all kinds of shit on Twitter without any consequences, is open about his connections to CIA and John Bolton, while Lebron is vilified by media and politicians when he doesn’t say things that fit the dominant narrative. Death to America!

Apart from the obvious candidates of financial oligarchs and nazis etc:

    1. People who litter. Where I live 90% of the people who clean are immigrants who have come here to seek a better life, why do privileged people have to make life anymore difficult for them?
    2. Controversial point but young people who shirk responsibility for the sake of satisfaction. When covid was at its worst here, lots of students were ignoring recommendations of staying home because they just had to party! In some sense I can understand them because capitalism has created this phenomenon of “have fun while you can” behavior, which I find very egoistic. Bonus points if they are privileged enough to live comfortably due to rich parents or nepotism.
    3. People who lower their seat whenever someone is sitting behind them on buses, trains, flights etc.
