I use vanilla GNOME on my home rig and I love it so far. Might switch to a tiling WM at some point but I’d need to actually have time to change it over, configure stuff, and learn the new keybindings

I was talking to a lib about Cuba and they said something nearly identical. It completely ignores the historical precedent of oppressive systems making sure the oppressed aren’t well-educated/literate because it makes them easier to control. Reminds me a lot of that Parenti bit about anti-communism being an orthodoxy; literally any positive fact about socialist countries will be twisted to make it seem like they’re all one giant concentration camp.

Frankly I expect even the most non-chud history channels to be radlibs at best, so I just avoid any videos on subjects more recent than the 1600s. It lets me enjoy things and keep my sanity

Take any results from this with a grain of salt, especially if this is based off people’s results from the test on the political compass website. Even most hardline MLs tend to score deep in the “libertarian” left quadrant because you basically have to be a NazBol to score in anywhere the upper left.
