Downloaded the original version, put it into my art program (Clip Studio Paint), upscaled it to the desired dimensions (obviously that makes the quality go to shit), new layer, begin the process of meticulously tracing over every single part of it with the precise colours and strokes. Took some very minor liberties with certain small details bc the quality of the image wasn’t doing a lot for how I should go about with it, but all in all it turned out pretty good, I think.

Drawing the orange bits was pain.

If you want to download it, [here's the link to do that.](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WfjtuvuqmTY3GzcJjxE0f_GzN52TQ0TD/view?usp=sharing) If you wanna buy it as a print (it's in A2 size, so 42 x 59.4 cm / 16.5 x 23.4 in), [go here.](https://linktr.ee/RDPK)

thonkin well, CSP is absolutely worth the money, but Krita works too if you’re tight on cash. I’m living in Europe for an exchange program rn and I understand the feeling. My current financial situation was saved by, of all things, the Euro’s value falling compared to the Australian Dollar.

I just looked up that thread and it’s truly amazing to see how many people adore this shitpost I will definitely make more

no fucking clue. But, I give up now. Oh well, reddit, you win. suck my dick but yk well done you drove me away

I’ve decided this is gonna be the push for me to formalise my online… persona, I guess. Wherever I go, wherever I post, I end up attracting a following somehow. I had 50 or so followers on my old account, and 79 on the last one - who the hell follows a reddit account? Regardless, I suppose it’s worth a shot.

I’ve been commissioned by the Communist Party of Australia to create a number of propaganda posters for them and remaster some old soviet posters to be sold as prints, so I’m working on that at the moment. People on reddit asked me to create anime versions of many different leftist groups - NVA, IRA, PFLP, MPLA, the list goes on. Not a fan of drawing the anime style, but if the people want, I will provide. It’ll be good practice, anyway.

you got a source for the meme comrade

During the Great Leap Forward, Mao Zedong stopped eating meat, and grew vegetables and kept rabbits in order to help alleviate the famine’s effects. Not much, but he did his part.

Favourite Communist Design would be the IS-2M or the T-72A. The IS-2M is a modernised 1950s version of the IS-2 heavy tank - you know, the one that stormed Berlin. In the 50s, they redesigned the hull to be better armoured. They also got exported to China.

The T-72A, well, I just think it’s cool - an effective MBT with an autoloader and capacity to defeat any imperialist armour.

Favourite non-communist design would be something like the Type 4 Chi-To (production model), Type 4 Heavy, O-I superheavy tank from Japan, the AC 4 Sentinel from Australia and the T95 GMC. I just think they’re neat.
