One thing that’s really bugging me out with K9 is that as soon as I open the app to the messages list, all notifications are cleared. I use notifications to keep track of what I still need to do, so this really sucks…
This is madness but it is GLORIOUS madness!

So what, I can write a parser in JavaScript in a single line
\s
Jokes aside, that does look neat and like a really clever solution that is very fammiliar right from the start!
…right :p
Happy watching
Why do you always forget about us music/books/etc. lovers? :(
Looking forward to the update! I’ll see if I can open a few bug reports…
They strictly use the donations to cover their infrastructure cost (website, docs, metadata API fees). They don’t use donations to fund development, to avoid becoming for-profit at all cost.
And since they are currently sitting at ~$20k that they have yet to spend, they aren’t pushing the donation options at all.
What they much rather need is actual contributors, that can help with development.
Absolutely not! There are a many features in 10.9, check out the “release-highlight” PRs on the repo: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/pulls?q=is%3Apr+label%3Arelease-highlight+
That is only a part of the changes, there are some more UI changes to the dashboard, many bug fixes, and performance improvements.
Sony seems to not be willing to accept a Jellyfin client. It’s not that the devs don’t want to support the PS5, Sony is blocking it…
No need for drivers, since I’m not using the GPU at all. It just has enough performance.
I’m running TrueNAS SCALE based on Debian. What do your transcoding settings in JF look like?
I’m really happy to hear that! But I’ll try to get an iPhone from someone and do some more testing as well :D
Wonderful!
Yeah it seems like Safari prefers to crash instead of allocating a bit more RAM, it should work fine on dekstop/android though. Sadly I don’t have an iPhone to test with 😅
Please let me know if you got it to work on another device!
Did the app properly tell you about it and give you the button to increase the retention interval? Because that’s a feature I worked on a lot, and I would love if it actually paid off!

Thank you so much! Let me know if you have any issue!
You might not have access to all statistics, but some should be there, and the web app will also check your plugin configuration to make sure all your listening activity is actually collected! So if something doesn’t work, it’s important to look into it or you might be missing some data next year :)
The item IDs are tied to the actual file paths, so don’t change your library structure at first. Otherwise you might still have the user data, but it can’t be matched to your media.
Generally I’ve not found a way to transfer things. If you find one, please let me know…
The web client is capped at 80 Mbit/s I think, at least that’s the highest option in the UI.
Which setting are you referring to?
I’m doing software transcoding of 4K movies using a Ryzen 3600G, what the hell.
Are you running on Windows or something like that?
Maybe the clients are the problem, but the server should be running great!
Actually the problem seems to be early adoption, at least that’s what my professor told me. Wealthy countries like the USA and Germany started deploying internet infrastructure very early, and replacing all of this equipment is now very expensive. So we’re mostly stuck with older tech.
That’s really awesome! I’ll hold off from trying this for one or two updates, hopefully by then Immich will automatically create albums based on the folder structure as well.
And some solid library sharing feature would also go a long way towards sharing (old) family photos with the whole family!
Well it’s not technically a bug, more of a feature request. I debated creating an issue for it, and also thought about implementing it myself. But they are busy enough, as am I…
