Yes, the whole US media ecosystem runs cover for Israel. However it’s not because Israel has any real power over western media, it’s because the US government supports Israel.

Israel only has power because they’re a proxy of the US.

I hesitate to directly equate chattel slavery to comfortable white collar westerners, but it seems relevant to the question of why wealthy proles would act against their own class interest. Good article! When talking to libs (the misguided familial kind) I find their thoughts regarding AI are often more in line with Marxist thought.

November was good, I had a couple of weeks off work and am feeling much better overall.

In practice I’ve noticed very little difference between cachy & other distros in terms of performance.

I think it’s mostly convenience & marketing. I’ve run most mainstream distros and cachy definitely worked “out of the box” for gaming. I don’t think it’s worth swapping for if you’re already using Linux.

Nothing wrong with cachy, I just don’t think there’s any special magic I’ve noticed that sets it apart from arch.

Of course! It is miserable, no arguments there. Don’t pressure yourself to start feeling better, some day it’ll suddenly hit you that you haven’t thought about them in days. Eventually it’ll stretch to weeks. Eventually they’ll become irrelevant to your life.

Very real, those in power prefer to give opportunity to those who hold similar values to them. In the west this means being a selfish racist piece of shit.

Being good at anything is completely unrelated to being a good person. If every person in the world was brilliant but a selfish piece of shit, we’d go extinct.

Take pride in your abilities, and be kind to yourself. You have value outside of your ability to generate revenue for shareholders. Compassion, Empathy, and emotional intelligence are separate skills you’ve invested time into that those people clearly haven’t.

Also nurture yourself! I cannot overstate how helpful it is to be kind to yourself when trying to learn something new. The only way to get good at something is to first be bad at it.

I was where you are a little while ago. Similar situation with things not working for a while, lots of dishonesty, etc. We continued living together for 4 months after because we didn’t have another option. It devastated me.

Only advice I can give is don’t think about relationships for a while. I ended up in a short rebound with a friend I ended up hurting. I was using them to avoid confronting my feelings.

Sit with it, it’s okay to feel lonely. Focus on continuing / making healthy habits that make you happy. Hang out with friends, that kinda thing. Love yourself.

You will find someone else you connect with again, you will not be alone forever. It gets better :)
