It is cruel to watch. And especially in germany deviationist “communist” groups pop out of the ground like mushrooms.
Besides the “old” communist parties like dkp and mlpd, which have their own issues, there now are a new (trotskist afaik) KP, stemming from the KO (kommunistische organisation), the KA (kommunistischer aufbau, which seems to be maoist) and a dozen small groups I have recently read about.
All in all, we are in a huge disadvantage since the state has cruel false flag strategies and people are so pokitically diseducated, depressed and unwilling to even read or listen to people.
If anyone has knowledge of marxist leninist (and non revisionist) groups, maybe international too, let me know.
I was listening to an online debate of a Trot (Gustavo Machado) vs some guys representing what they call “political materialism” (Diego Ruzzarin and the other I can’t remember), some branch of Marxism from Mexico. It was surprising how this esoteric Marxist school had more positive things to say about previous and current socialist experiences than the Trot guy.
It’s like Trots (and other West-aligned schools) can’t go further than liberal concepts of democracy, or a very utopic notion of what a socialist transition would look like. Therefore, when they see how socialist experiments existed in history and they don’t match their own utopian conceptions of a socialist transition, then they reject the socialist experience. What is worse, they basically see all other socialist or communist orgs or countries as enemies to be fought.
I’m completely sure that these schools of thought are not real but deliberately thought up concepts of the bourgeoisie to derail socialists. It has the same logic as liberalism and other dysfunctional movements. Its like the local undertaker funding snake oil salesmen. Opportunists are fundamentally just humans who had to let go of their principles to survive. I have had to do it and many others did as well. The difference between opportunism in life and death situations and an opportunist in the political sense is the knowledge that opportunism destroys trust and thus destroys power for change. That is why the bourgois state funds opportunism (trotsky) to have people go at each others throats.
