For actual near term human extinction stuff I’ve seen run away estimates as much as like 8c+ increase (over the long term, think hundreds or thousands of years). I’m not sure I believe this. Humans are an invasive and resilient species. Short of the earth literally exploding/getting consumed by the sun/the heat death of the universe I don’t think we’ll ever go extinct.
